Fooling hawks

I've had some unusual experiences with your Dove-In-Air flapping wings decoy that I'd like to share with you. Three years ago I bought six of your regular Dove-In-Air decoys that are wind activated as well as the decoy with the the battery operated wings. I also bought two of the MoJo battery operated Dove decoys with the thought that the MoJo's were the better decoy. I did some improvising on presenting all of the decoys in that I used wood dowels and six foot round wooden closet poles to put the all the decoys at heights from about ten feet to four feet above the ground making for a presentation that was better than the decoy being close to the ground. The first year I used the set up day light was about to break. I set up the two MoJos first and they were both at about nine or ten feet up as was the battery operated Dove-In-Air. As I was setting up your wind activated decoys a hawk flew into the spread and actually hit your batterty operated Dove-In-Air and hit it hard he did. The hawk flew off leaving the decoy and the pole waving in the air. Several of my friends saw it happen and we all got a good laugh from it. Last season I didn't use any decoys due to some very bad weather which became a poor shoot. This year I used the same decoys again and about 8am a large Red Tail Hawk hit the same decoy as on my first use. I'm sold! Any decoy that can fool a hawk two times and the second time in broad day light is a winner in my book! Thanks for making an excellent, high quality product that can take a hit and still get the job done. I'll be buying more of your products like duck decoys hoping they will bring in the birds like the dove decoy did. Rusty Gray
